Water Pythons

This image shows a male water python (that I have since sold) with a friend's female.  I was pleased to see that he immediately began flicking his tongue over her body and actually extended his hemi-penis shortly after this image was taken.

Mating !!! The male is approx 4 years old and a proven breeder. Mating occured 06/08/2000

This image shows the male introduced to my - much larger - female on 12th August.  As you can see he is 'tickling' her with his spurs.  No mating at this stage but was is a very encouraging sign!

Over the next month or so I kept swapping him between Ben's female and mine. 

25/09/00 My large female belly up.

23/10/00 My large female shed (pre-lay ?)

15/12/00 No eggs produced.  They were either absorbed or phantom :-(
