This image was emailed to me by Neville Reibelt in Brisbane.
The pic was taken by a farmer in his shed at a place called Inglewood, 200 miles West of Brisbane. That snake and another spent the Winter in his ceiling, above the wood stove....
By doing a bit of measuring, Neville worked out that the snake is just over 5 foot long. The farmer reckoned about 5 to 6 feet.. Either way a large possum is a very large feed for any snake.
