WHAT A WALCZAK WIN!
John Shea GT Champ!

Tyco Pan Chassis GT Finale

Mark Walczak took his first LMP win of the year and John Shea won to take his first GT championship.

A 22 car field lined up for the Road America races, including the return of the "cool diva" Amy Butler

Action was close in both divisions

The venerable Ferrari F40 of Everet Kamikawa took the final pole position for the Tyco pan chassis, however a third place was the best the all-time GT win leader could do as two penalties dropped him off the lead. 2009 will see AFX SRT chassis replace the Tyco chassis in the GT division.

The race was hotly contested as Mark Walczak returned to his LMP championship winning form. Larry Rotter and Mike Fitzlaff made it close, but the LMP win leader prevailed.
